  1. I think cooking has more to do with meats, vegetables, etc. while baking deals with wheats (breads, cakes, cookies) and is generally, but not always, sweet. I have more experience with baking but no preference. :)

I definitely agree with Kiora because cooking involves more stove-top usage and preparing meats/vegetables like she said, whereas baking involves more sweets, bread, etc. and using the oven. It's hard to choose... I prefer baking mostly because I like baked goods such as cookies, brownies, and bread, but I also love the process of rolling out the dough, etc. :-)

  2. Baking is when you are putting some sort of food like a cake, muffins, or cookies in the oven and the treat rises. Cooking is when you expose food to more action when making. Baking is a form of cooking using heat/oven.

  4. The difference between cooking an baking is that cooking has to do with more meats and vegetables, and you use the stove for it. Baking is more about breads and doughy things and you use the oven for it. -Blake Motoyasu Period 6

  11. Cooking is preparing food with a flame where baking is preparing food without a flame. cooking tends to be on a stove and baking tends to be in the oven. I don't prefer one over the other, but if I had to choose I would pick cooking, because I use the stove more then the oven.

Baking is done in the oven and cooking is done on the stove top. I prefer cooking on a stove top because it is a quicker cooking process and I love the aroma
